China Palace, Prints, 2024

Labor of Love, Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at Portland State University, Portland, OR. January 16th - April 27th 2024. Curated by Alexander Terry.

The installation of prints combine imagery, pattern, and text drawn from family photographs, newspaper ads and takeout menus of China Palace, the restaurant operated by my family in the Midwest during the 1980s to 2000s. The installation was included in the group exhibition Labor of Love at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art Portland State University and the 14e Biennale internationale d’estampe contemporaine de Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada, from June 14 - September 7, 2025.
